A new district for central London

Canada Water is a 12 year development project in central London. Creating up to 3,000 new net zero carbon homes and 2 million sq ft of workspace across 53 acres, Canada Water will be the UK's most sustainable new town centre.

Simplifying the leasing journey

When Canada Water approached us for this project, their existing site was built from a template and shared the same underlying codebase with more than 15 other British Land websites.

Off the back of a fresh rebrand, we were given the opportunity to build something bespoke without creative limitation. Utilising the new brand assets we were able to bring to life the visual identity with playful animations that more accurately represented this colourful and vibrant cultural development.

A key requirement of this project was to create a seamless leasing experience that guided users through the availability of retail, office and lab space. Following a comprehensive UX audit and wireframing process, we delivered a completely bespoke leasing journey that offered users multiple ways to search for space, including a list/map view toggle which enabled the user to search based on what was most important to them.
